  • Marc Houle will release a new album in March called Undercover. Houle has been a key figure in minimal techno for years, having grown up in Windsor, Canada with Richie Hawtin before launching his career as a producer in Berlin in the early '00s. He was a core member of the Minus crew until last summer, when he broke from the label with Magda and Troy Pierce, partly in order to focus more on Items & Things, the label they've run together since 2006. Undercover will be Items & Things' first full-length, and Houle's first solo release ever on a label other than Minus. According to a press release, it shows him continuing to expand his sound, toying with less club-friendly tempos and the occasional non-4/4 rhythm. All of the tracks are previously unreleased. Tracklist 01. Hearing 02. Undercover 03. Juno 6660 04. Very Bad 05. Bink 06. Am Am Am 07. Mooder 08. Under the Neath Items & Things will release Undercover on March 12th, 2012.
