  • Detroit house luminary Anthony 'Shake' Shakir will headline the next edition of Plex, taking place at Corsica Studios on February 3rd. Taken as a whole, the lineup exemplifies Plex's signature mix of forward-thinking techno, house and bass music. Shakir shares the bill with three experts in techno and bass crossover: Objekt, A Made Up Sound (AKA 2562) and underground favourite DJ Rum. Straight up techno will come from UK veteran Inigo Kennedy and the night's "mystery guest," who Plex describe as "one of the most highly regarded DJs in the UK" and who will be "breaking out from his usual style a little bit to play a storming techno set." Up-and-coming artist Nightwave (formerly 8bitch) rounds off the bill, along with Plex residents James Tec, Luke Handsfree and friend of the family Strepsil. Tickets for the party are available here on RA.
