  • UK veteran A Guy Called Gerald and French producer Marc Antona will play the Pirates Of The Underground boat cruise on Sydney Harbour on December 17th. Gerald Simpson burst onto the scene all the way back in 1988 with Voodoo Ray, an acid house track that remains a classic more than two decades later. Nowadays he's based in Berlin where he remains both influential and up-to-date, putting out records on labels like Perlon and Highgrade Records. His current visit to Australia, for last weekend's Subsonic Festival, is his first in three years. Antona is currently on his first visit to Australia, also for Subsonic. His appearances this weekend come hot on the heels of his debut album, Rules of Madness, which came out in September on his own Dissonant label. The boat cruise begins at 1:30 PM and docks at 10:00 PM. Antona will DJ at The Spice Cellar afterwards where he will be joined by German duo Turmspringer and Portuguese DJ Tiago Oudman. The club's doors open at 10:00 PM. Tickets to the cruise are available through RA.
