  • Motor City Drum Ensemble will play three dates in Australia surrounding New Year's Eve. One of Germany's biggest recent exports in deep house, Danilo Plessow has had a fruitful year both in the studio and on stage. While only releasing one new 12-inch on his MCDE imprint, he contributed a well-received mix to the DJ Kicks compilation series. On the road Plessow has been considerably more active, having toured mainland Europe extensively as well as landing dates in the UK, the US, Japan and Brazil. His first trip to Australia in two years will see him visiting Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane over the new year period. Promoters Auditree, Subtrakt and CLASS will be joining forces to host the Brisbane show at Barsoma on the 30th of December. Support will be provided by local DJs Scott Walker, Charlie Why vs Jad & The Ladyboy and more. In Sydney, Plessow will join Glaswegian disco selector The Revenge aboard the Spice Afloat Sunrise Cruise, which runs from 3:30 AM until 10:00 AM. That night he'll play with 6th Borough Project and Tornado Wallace at The Bridge at South Wharf for a New Year's Day party by Animals Dancing.
