  • Promoters and record label Huntleys & Palmers will celebrate their fourth birthday with a pair of parties next month. The celebrations begin on December 10th in Huntleys & Palmers' hometown, Glasgow. Spanish DJ, producer and Hivern label boss John Talabot will push his accessible take on house and disco at the city's Stereo venue, while Auntie Flo, the man behind Huntleys & Palmers' biggest success on their label to date, "Oh My Days," is the other artist confirmed thus far. Moving south and forward seven days, the focus shifts to London and an unannounced location in east London, described by H&P as "a brand new warehouse in the heart of Hackney." The Saturday 17th December party will see DJ sets from Janine Rostron, AKA Planningtorock, French producer Ivan Smagghe and Honest Jons/Werk Discs man Actress. Stepping up for live sets, meanwhile, will be German duo MMM, the currently riding high Patten and H&P's SOPHIE. It would be safe to expect almost all styles of electronic music to be touched upon at some point during the night. Tickets for both the Glasgow and London legs of the birthday are available via RA Tickets.
