  • Stephen Fasano, better known as The Magician, will go on a tour of North America later this week. Fasano is best known as one of the founders of Aeroplane, alongside Vito De Luca. Since the duo parted ways last year (with De Luca taking over the Aeroplane alias), Fasano has continued as The Magician with his own brand of slow-burning house and disco, seen in recent production efforts for France's Kitsuné Music and a popular monthly mix series known as Magic Tapes. After a few gigs in the US and Canada earlier in the year, the upcoming tour will be his longest solo trek of the continent yet, with eight confirmed appearances over ten days. He'll play a party this Thursday in Connecticut before going to LA for his one night on the west coast, at Hard Haunted Mansion. Next Monday for Halloween, he'll head back east to play Public Assembly in New York, then move on to weekday gigs in Virginia, Washington DC and Miami. Next Friday, The Magician will take over the decks at Smart Bar in Chicago, before finishing the tour in Toronto.
