- The two Panorama Bar residents will headline parties at Smart Bar next month.
Steffi and Prosumer will headline parties at Smart Bar in Chicago next month.
Both DJ's are residents at Panorama Bar, the house-centric room located upstairs at Berghain in Berlin. Both also make music for the venue's in-house label, Ostgut Ton; Prosumer produced the label's first artist album Serenity alongside Murat Tepeli in 2008, and Steffi crafted her own Ostgut LP, Yours and Mine, earlier this year.
It's a rare appearance in Chicago for both artists, and their gigs at Smart Bar round out a year that has seen a number of other Berghain and Panorama Bar residents, including Ben Klock, Cassy, Tama Sumo and Marcel Dettmann, take over the club's Funktion One system. First up is Steffi, who will share the decks with longtime Windy City DJ's Kate Simko and Iz on Saturday, November 5th. The following weekend, on Friday the 11th, Jordan Bradley will lend support as Prosumer makes his Chicago debut.
