- The Italian techno artist has a mini-album due out this month on Further.
Nuel will release a mini-album called Trance Mutations later this month on Further Records.
The albums sees the Seattle imprint continuing its run of vinyl LPs, rather than the digital files or limited edition cassettes it started out with. Nuel, an Italian techno artist who runs the Aquaplano label with Donato Dozzy, departs from his usual style a bit with Trance Mutations, delivering an organic album that relies heavily on acoustic instruments (e.g. guitar, piano and drums). According to the label, it was recorded using one mic and one mixer channel over the course of one week, with a single day devoted to each track. It was released as an extremely limited white label (25 pressed in total) this past August, but will see wide release on October 20th.
