Colony meets Machine meets Plex

- The London promoters will team up at Corsica Studios later this month, with Surgeon, Ancient Methods and Andy Stott among an extended bill.
- Colony, Machine and Plex will come together for a joint party at Corsica Studios on Friday 28th October. With two of the three promoters celebrating their birthday—Plex turn five, Colony three—there should be a palpable party atmosphere at Corsica Studios come October 28th. This will be compounded in no small terms by a line-up comprised of some of contemporary techno's most intriguing proponents. Room one will be looked after by Plex. There'll be a decidedly live bent to their programming on the night, as German duo Ancient Methods and the UK's Perc, Neil Landstrumm and Matt Whitehead all take to the stage. Dask, Luke Handsfree and James Tec will smooth over the gaps with DJ sets. Colony will also give a substantial platform to live sounds over in room two: Modern Love's Andy Stott will likely be pushing some of his recent "knackered house" productions, while Ruaridh Law, AKA The Village Orchestra, AKA TVO, will also play live. DJ sets will come from Punch Drunk boss Peverelist, who should expand the party's musical remit somewhat, and Colony residents Tengui and MB & CB. Room three is not looking too shabby either. Ben Sims and Kirk Degiorgio will oversee things under the banner of their Machine night, and they've invited the considerable talents of Surgeon and Adam X to join them. The night gets underway at 10:00 PM and will run through until 7:00 AM.
