  • Sheffield-based imprint More About Music launches a new sub-label today called Secret Weapons. Unlike its more bass-inclined parent label, Secret Weapons will emphasise the sounds of Chicago house, Sheffield bleep and Detroit techno, with releases from both current and classic artists. The first EP, Hold Me Back, is by Deep Space Orchestra, a UK deep house duo with past releases on Delusions of Grandeur and Quintessentials. According to label owner Mark Potts, future releases will come from Austrian producer Roman Rauch and Chicago veteran Carl Bias, a former member of the early house ensemble Master C & J. The label is distributed by Clone and is a strictly vinyl-only operation. Tracklist A1 Hold Me Back B1 Hold Me Back (Cosmic Boogie Remix) B2 Hold Me Back (Paranoid London Remix) Secret Weapons will release Hold Me Back today, September 26th, 2011.
