- The Vision is due out on October 31st.
Joker will release his debut album, The Vision, this November on 4AD.
Real name Liam McLean, Joker is one Bristol's most popular bass music exports, having appeared on flagship labels like Hyperdub and Tectonic before signing to the indie powerhouse 4AD. Early in his career he was labeled part of the "Purple Trinity" along with Gemmy and Guido, two other young Bristol producers with hard-to-categorize styles of bass music, though all three artists were ambivalent about the title. The Vision combines past tunes like "Tron" with a batch of previously unreleased tracks. A raft of guest artists get in on the action, including Jessie Ware, Silas, Jay Wilcox and Buggsy.
