- Ali and Basti Schwarz have put together the Berlin club's next mix CD.
- Tiefschwarz have mixed Watergate 09, due out on October 31st. The brothers Schwarz (Ali and Basti) are longtime staples of Berlin's club scene. Given the number of times they've played at Watergate over the years, they seem a natural choice for the club's mix series, which has previously featured artists like Sascha Funke, dOP and Lee Jones. Their sound is usually sleek, contemporary tech house, but Watergate 09 shows they have a soft spot for old classics as well, with cuts from Defected, Trax and KMS fit in alongside the likes of Nicolas Jaar and Julio Bashmore. The mix also includes a previously unreleased Tiefschwarz production, "Corporate Butcher," with vocals from Mama. Tiefschwarz will headline a launch party for the mix on October 9th at Watergate, with support from Bruno Pronsato, Guti and Robert Dietz. Tracklist 01.
