  • Danny Yorke, AKA Altered Natives, is ready to release his next album, Tenement Yard Volume 2. The UK bass producer's latest full-length follows the same blueprint as its predecessor, with 15 cuts of highly personal UK bass music. "My music has always been used as a diary, some tracks were converted out of personal moments in time," he says. He was even kind enough to shed some light on these personal experiences in the album's press notes. So for instance, with the second track, "Galactic": "This song was born around a moment of complete isolation and fed up'ness at my life and how i fit in to it." "Indigo Dream"?: "The colour indigo basically disturbed me my whole childhood." "My Game My Rules": "It's pretty common knowledge im no one's bitch and i do pretty much what i want... Also kinda sounds like a bad sporting teenager who wont give up the Playstation controller." One track, "Shake That," features classic Chicago house artist ESP, of "It's You" fame. The album will come out next month on Yorke's own Eye4Eye Recordings. Tracklist 01. Loved By Few 02. Galactic 03. Earthlings 04. Illuminate 05. Shake That feat. ESP 06. Die 4 U 07.
