  • This Friday, Stranger Than Paradise, D33P S3CR3TS and 88 will host the energetic live explorations of Dandy Jack and Sonja Moonear, collectively known as Junction SM, for a party in Washington DC. Dandy Jack, aka Martin Schopf, and Moonear come from opposite sides of the world. Schopf, a Chilean native, has a production catalog that stretches back to the mid '90s and includes collaborations with Luciano, Ricardo Villalobos and many others. Moonear comes from Switzerland, where she's been DJing and putting on parties for over a decade. Together they've released lengthy, experimental house and techno tracks via Perlon and Kalk Pets, and when performing as Junction SM, Schopf's live improvisations are mixed together with Moonear's selections on the decks. The duo's live set at The Warehouse this Friday will be supported by a cast of DC DJ's, led by Stranger Than Paradise resident NavboX. Tickets for the party can be found here on RA.
