  • Bruno Pronsato will bring his live set back to the US this month. On his records and on stage, Pronsato delivers a heady and often emotional style of minimalist techno. His 2008 album Why Can't We Be Like Us was praised as one of the best albums of that year, and in 2009 he started his own label, thesongsays, which has released similarly romantic productions from Benoit & Sergio and Ninca Leece, with whom Pronsato collaborates as Public Lover. Earlier this summer, he put out his third album, Lovers Do on thesongsays, and these stateside appearances will be his first since the album's release. The tour starts Friday in St. Louis, with a party hosted by the local Badassness crew. The following weekend sees Pronsato go to U Street Music Hall in Washington DC, before playing a PL0T party in Miami at Electric Pickle. There, he'll share the bill with Minus artist Barem, who's playing in support of his own recently-released album, After The Storm. Pronsato will then head to New York on Saturday September 24th for a BlkMarket Membership party at Good Units. An array of live performances will be on display for the night, including Circus Company artists dOP. Tickets are available here on RA.
