- The Chicago house legend will play the Dalston venue's new Kate Boss night next Friday.
Robert Owens will headline The Nest's new Kate Boss night on Friday, September 2nd.
A spin off of Shoreditch club night Orlando Boom, Kate Boss aims to deliver an "audio-visual journey through house music." The night's programming will follow the chronology of house music: Owens, the voice of classics like "I'll Be Your Friend," will take the stage after an hour of soul music and play a special retrospective DJ set. He'll also play live with a violinist. Kiwi and the other Kate Boss residents will bring things up to the current day with a closing set of contemporary house. Meanwhile, The Nest will have been transformed by an array of props, video footage and designer lighting to fit the theme of the night.
