  • Blk|Market Membership will host Craig Richards and his experimental party series in New York next Saturday. As music director and resident DJ at fabric, one of the world's most influential clubs, Richards has been shaping electronic music culture in the UK and beyond for more than a decade. A former art school student who maintains an affinity for painting and drawing, the last few years have seen Richards host The Nothing Special, an event series at fabric where Richards plays with left-field acts like Shackleton and T++. Following up on the party's success, Richards has curated a mix CD of the same name, and this stateside visit will celebrate its release just a few weeks ago. An eclectic program is in store for the night: French artist Jennifer Cardini will offer up a set of dark, minimal grooves, and Convextion, the Dallas-based producer also known as E.R.P, will combine his dubby techno and electro soundscapes with a live set. Support comes from Blkmarket DJ's Taimur and Fahad. The party's location is TBA, but tickets can be found right here on RA.
