- Thrill Jockey will release the LA-based duo's third full-length in October.
Original Colors is the third album from Mary Pearson and Rob Barber as High Places.
"Driving bass" and "syncopated dance rhythms" have been used by the label to describe the latest efforts from experimental pop duo High Places. Originally based in Brooklyn the pair relocated to Los Angeles in 2009. Recorded in their home there, Original Colors is the follow-up to last year's pastoral pop record High Places Vs. Mankind and is due out in early October.
