  • DVS1, Jeff Mills and more will perform at Freedommune Zero next month. The event, held at Higashi Ogishima East Park in Kawasaki City, is being put on by the popular weekday club event which streams sets from renowned DJs to audiences around the world. Ever since the earthquake in Japan in March 2011, Dommune has been raising awareness locally and internationally about charity efforts. To this end, they've organized the Freedommune Zero, which is set to host 40 acts over three stages in one day next month. Stewart Walker, Gabriel Ananda lead the rest of the international contingent, while Ken Ishii, Towa Tei, Merzbow and more are among the locals providing support. Per usual, the entire thing will be broadcast live. For those looking to attend the free event, all advance reservation slots have been snapped up already, but Dommune is preparing a book entitled Dommune Official Guidebook 1st, which is set to be published in early August. Each will come complete with an invitation card for Freedommune Zero.
