- The Chicago jock will celebrate his 40th Birthday in Berlin with Crystal Ark, Trevor Jackson and many more.
- Haubtbahnhof spot Tape will open its doors at the end of this month to celebrate Traxx's 40th birthday. Traxx is readily identified with a strand of raw and jacking analog house that's rooted in his hometown of Chicago, but the outspoken DJ/producer has become a regular fixture around the German capital over the last few years. Oliphant's Nation imprint is behind the bash and, alongside the birthday boy, other dek players from the label will include Mick Wills and Tiny, alongside a live PA by French signee Nancy Fortune. Similarly providing live electronics and vocals will be DFA's The Crystal Ark. The duo comprises of former LCD Soundsystem member and man-of-many-guises Gavin Russom and Viva Ruiz. Keeping the lineup diverse will be British veteran and our recent Under The Covers design feature focus Trevor Jackson, M>O>S Records boss Aroy Dee, Parisian house stalwart DJ Deep and a trio of Berlin jocks, disco aficionados Hunee and Hugo Capablanca, plus Macro's Finn Johannsen.
