  • The Red Bull Music Academy party will take place under the Westway during the Carnival on Monday 29th August. Diplo and Switch's Major Lazer will once again headline the annual Carnival bash, joined by a host of other artists and surprise guests. Frenchman Brodinski will go head-to-head with LA's Dillon Francis, whilst Rinse's Oneman locks with Numbers man Jackmaster, topped by a special guest appearance from vocalist Jessie Ware. Other artists billed include Miami-based Jamaican Soundsystem Black Chiney, Lucky Me/Mad Decent beatmerchant Lunice and rising female dubstepper Kito. Staying true to form, the RBMA stage will also host a series of unannounced artists, which in past years have included Lee 'Scratch' Perry, Rusko, Toddla T and Drop The Lime. Though entry to the party is free, anyone keen on attending will need tickets, which will be available from 11th August though the RBMA website.
