  • Full Of Noises Festival returns to Barrow Park, Cumbria, on August the 5th and 6th. The brainchild of Barrow-based arts collective Octopus, FON is a multidisciplinary festival featuring a week of residences, installations and workshops taking place across a range of Barrow-in-Furness venues. The event concludes with a weekend of live art performances and music showcases. On Friday, Heinrich Mueller's mysterious Dopplereffekt outfit will play with Planet Mu artist Boxcutter and Warp-redolent producer Lone at the Bluebird Cabaret Club. On Saturday, resident sound-based artist Philip Jeck and German artist Antye Greie, AKA AGF will present new works made over the course of the week at FON's studio in Barrow park at St John's Church, backed by performances from Tom Scott and digital composer Lee Gamble. Other gems to be found include an electronically hacked Crazy Golf Course and a Swan pedalo-turned floating radio station.
