  • Project Mooncircle are ready to release Robot Koch's third solo album, The Other Side. The new record comes hot on the heels of Robot Robinson, Robot Koch's collaboration with John Robinson, which just dropped in April this year, also on Project Mooncircle. It's been a long time in the making—some of the tracks were recorded a full seven years ago. "I didn't know what to do with songs like 'Bugs' back then," says the Berlin-based artist. "Now it felt like the time has come to release them, they just made sense with of the most recent stuff I've been making and it all fell into place. But it was not an easy album for me to make. The previous albums just came together rather quick but this one was a real mission, something I've been trying to do for years and I could never really get it together until now." Stylistically, The Other Side builds on Robot Koch's past albums, Death Star Droid and Songs For Trees and Cyborgs—released in 2009 and 2010 respectively—while guest appearances from John LaMonica, Mexican singer/songwriter Graciela Mara and theatre composer Nielsen help take his sound in a new direction. The album will be released on vinyl and CD this October. Tracklist 01. Heal 02. Nitesky 03. The Other Side 04. Island 05. Lights 06. Glassdrops 07. Backwards 08. Autodreams 09.
