  • Al Kentt, real name Ewan Kelly, will be touching down for an Australian mini-tour this weekend. Though he's kept a relatively low international profile throughout his 20-odd years DJing, Kelly has become known as one of the disco's true connoisseurs. Having kicked off his electronic music career producing alongside Milton Jackson, the English artist went on to forge a relationship with leftfield powerhouse BBE, a partnership that spawned an album—Better Days—and Disco Love, a compilation and mix released on the label in 2007. Kelly will get his upcoming Australia jaunt underway with a set at Melbourne's The Croft Institute on July 2nd. From there, he'll head west for dates in Adelaide and Perth, after which the tour will come to a close courtesy of People Must Jam in Sydney on July 9th, who'll be hosting Kent at a warehouse party. Tickets to that Sydney date are available here on RA.
