  • The Limetree Arts and Music Festival will launch the Dance Music Therapy Village at this year's event, taking place between the 26th and 28th August. Alongside the usual medley of folk, soul, jazz and blues—this year headlined by world music collective Transglobal Underground, progressive bass ensemble Submotion Orchestra and Zero 7—Dance Music Therapy will add a further program of electronic music on three stages. Steering the drum and bass helm, esteemed Exit owner and one of the visionaries behind Autonomic and A Bunch of Cuts brands, D-Bridge, will be joined by Brighton duo SpectraSoul and Dispatch's Ant TC1. Chicago legend and recent RA exchange artist Robert Owens heads the house lineup, alongside a Crosstown Rebels showcase with Clive Henry, Rob Mello and jozif. The weekend will also play host to two anniversary celebrations: Giles Smith and James Priestley toast 10 years of secretsundaze, the heralded London party brand, whilst Leeds house and techno imprint Back to Basics pedals out its roster in a nod to its 20th year on the scene. Nightmares on Wax's Dj E.A.S.E adds a tinge of funk and hip hop to the bill. The fourth annual festival will also bring to Limetree Farm in North Yorkshire an array of exhibitions, workshops and speakers as well as a health and healing tent and childrens' area.
