The UK producer will release his debut album on Planet Mu.
Planet Mu will release Tropics' debut album, Parodia Flare, next month.
Tropics is a project helmed by Chris Ward. Releasing his first single just last year, the British producer falls into line with the more indie-inspired branch of the Planet Mu roster. Ward plays drums, guitar, a variety of synths and sings all throughout Parodia, an album which has been described as "indiechilltronica" by some. Lead single "Mouves" already has a video to its name, which features two bearded hipster types conducting a race throughout Shinjuku. The director has claimed that it's about "two men running away from the country of radioactive contamination." You can watch it below.
