Art Department boards a boat in Toronto

- The Crosstown Rebels duo make a hometown appearance later next month.
- Toronto house duo Art Department will join the Bohemian Yacht Club for a daytime boat party on Sunday, July 24th. The native Canadian pair is composed of Kenny Glasgow and Jonny White, who also runs the No.19 imprint out of Toronto. While No.19 has released music from the likes of Soul Clap and No Regular Play, Art Department's tracks have primarily been released via Crosstown Rebels, including "Without You," their breakout hit and RA's #1 track of 2010, and The Drawing Board, their debut full-length from earlier this year. Since the last time Art Department played Toronto in late 2010, the pair have stayed busy with extensive touring across Europe, as exemplified by this weekend's off-Sonar stops in Barcelona followed by a night at Panorama Bar in Berlin. For next month's appearance in Toronto, they'll board the 250-person Stella Borealis yacht for a Sunday afternoon cruise billed as "Art Department and Friends."
