- Agnès will release his next album through Drumpoet Community in August.
Agnès will release an album as Cavalier this August, entitled A Million Horses.
When he's not DJing or running his label, Sthlmaudio Recordings, Agnès produces spacey deep house records under a few different pseudonyms, such as Ray Valioso and Modeste. A Million Horses will be his third album so far, but his first as Cavalier, an alias he's used twice before on records for Drumpoet Community. According to co-founder Alex Dallas, the label asked Agnès if they could hear some more material after releasing the Ride 'Em EP in 2008, and got more than 40 songs in return. A Million Horses narrows it down to 19, including all six tracks from the acclaimed EP of the same name, which came out last month. The album will be available on double-vinyl as well as digitally and on CD.
