Villalobos headlines Watergate Open Air

- Details of this year's New Kids On Acid event and an ensuing open air afterparty have been announced. New Kids On Acid takes place annually at Berlin's Watergate, and in addition to founding DJs Zip and Ata usually features a set from RA #1 DJ of 2010, Ricardo Villalobos. All three will be present come Saturday 9th July, in addition to appearances from Losoul, Roman Flügel and Perlon's Wareika, who play live. The twist this year is that the following day Watergate will make their maiden open air voyage, heading down to Rummelsburg, a space on the Spree next to the erstwhile Funkpark/Rechenzentrum venue. Villalobos and Zip (being the afterparty specialists they are) will get behind the decks again, while Innervisions' Dixon will provide a somewhat more sunny counterpoint with his assorted house sound. Other billed acts include Bpitch's Kiki, who plays live, Upon.You's Marco Resmann and local duo Zander VT. Tickets for Watergate Open Air are available here on RA (and already selling quickly).
