- Oblique Industries will headline the launch of a new Saturday morning weekly.
- Minimal Sydney, a Saturday morning party, will kick off at Oxford St's Burdekin Hotel this weekend. To launch the night, the promoters have locked in Melbourne's Oblique Industries, AKA Ryan Schofield, to headline. Schofield recently garnered attention by taking first prize in Plastikman's Arkives remix competition, submitting a rework of 2003's "Ask Yourself" that will soon see a release on Minus. He'll be touching down at Minimal Sydney for a live set, and will be joined on the lineup by fellow Melbourne locals the Bump DJs, along with residents Shepz and Tall Timber. The party is set to kick off at 1:00AM on Saturday morning in the Burdekin's basement, and will go right through to 10 AM. Entry is free.
