  • Marcel Dettmann will spin at Berlin's Arena for Grounded Theory this Friday. As one of Berghain's most renowned residents, it's not often that Dettmann steps outside the famed club for DJ appearances in his hometown. The East German native has spent over ten years sculpting a tough, skeletal sound that has become synonymous with Berghain, so his sets away from the club are often prone to having interesting results. Elsewhere on the party's bill, Dutch producer Jeroen Schrijvershof will be playing under his Jeroen Search guise for what will be his second live set in Berlin to date. The recently RA profiled Kenneth Christiansen has been locked in for a set alongside Dennis Bog, where the pair will be performing under their Pattern Repeat moniker, while Grounded Theory organizer Henning Baer, fresh from his debut release alongside Milton Bradley on the new K209 imprint, is slated to play at the night for the first time.
