  • Italian DJ and producer Alessio Mereu will release his first album this June, entitled Tripolarity. For an artist still in his early 20's, Mereu has some impressive achievements under his belt. After a string of releases on labels like Tuning Spork and CMYK, he launched his own label, Amam, which has put out 20 records in less than two years of operation, nearly half of which are Mereu's own. Tripolarity shows the range of his production style. According to a press release, the title refers to the three distinct sides of Mereu's palette: dark techno, warm house and more abstract electronic sounds. The record features guest appearances by Acumen, the French producer behind Time Has Changed Records, as well as Berlin-based artist Bloody Mary. Italian newcomers Naph and Carlo Caronti make an appearance as well. Tracklist 01. First Pole 02. Only You Know Who I Really Am 03. Purity 04. Perfect Lover 05. French Connection feat.
