  • The annual Dream gathering will return to Berlin on August 20th with the Worlds Collide party. Dream specialise in festival-sized events featuring popular dance music artists, and last year's sold out bash drew 10,000 ravers to Tempelhof airport. The location for this year's event, Veledrom, can accommodate an additional 2000 people, and will likely need to do so with Armin van Buuren as the headlining act. Van Buuren can legitimately claim the title of "world's most popular DJ"; he has maintained a huge international following for more than a decade, and he is routinely voted into the #1 position of DJ Mag's annual readers' poll. Alongside van Buuren, Toolroom Records chief Mark Knight will reprise his slot from Dream 2010, and while organisers have forgone last year's underground stage, the lineup will instead feature pop and r&B singer Kelis, whose flirtations with dance music have seen her recording with David Guetta, Moby and Benny Bennasi in recent years. Additionally, Amsterdam's Jessy, Berlin's Bullmeister and Dream label signee Yanuka will be on hand with additional tunes to throw some shapes to throughout the night. Advance tickets for Dream Berlin can now be purchased here from RA.
