  • Tim Xavier will play in Toronto this weekend, taking over breakandenter at Radiolaria. An American expatriate living in Berlin, Xavier leads a dual life as a techno artist and mastering engineer. His company, Manmade Mastering, has cut records for Wagon Repair, Ghostly International and Minus (including Plastikman's recent box set, Arkives), while his own dark brand of techno has appeared on more than a dozen labels, most notably Clink, the imprint founded by his girlfriend Camea. Xavier's Toronto appearance this Saturday will mark the 20th edition of breakandenter. The series has been active for over three years, hosting the likes of Pawel, Daniel Bell and Maetrik at clubs and parties around Toronto. Joining in the fun is longtime resident DJ Martin Fazekas along with birthday boy Jamie Kidd, Arthur Oskan (playing live) and breakandenter newcomer Waseem. The party also celebrates breakandenter's snazzy new website and logo (pictured right).
