Connie goes all night in New Orleans

- The New York DJ will play at Kompression next Saturday.
- New York's reSOLUTE resident Connie will head to New Orleans next weekend during the city's Jazz Fest for a long night of house and techno at Rubyfruit Jungle. Connie has spent most of the last decade developing into a leading figure in New York's underground party scene. As Constar, she's put out tracks on the local Airdrop Records imprint,but she might be most well known as one of the residents at reSOLUTE, the New York party series where she's shared the decks with Daniel Bell, Miss Fitz and Mathias Kaden among many others. Next weekend she'll head to the city's French Quarter to take over the two-room Kompression, an all-night party hosted by longtime local promoters antipop and Kinetic Productions. The Jazz Fest edition of the event will feature sets from a crew of local and national talent, including Miami's Juan Mejia and Kompression regulars Herb Christopher and Unicorn Fukr.
