  • Starting today, the Idea Generation Gallery in East London will host an exhibit of psychedelic art by Golden Sun Movement, a design collective made up of Leo Zero, Luke Insect and Dave Little. The exhibition is titled "ON: Acid House Art & Twenty First Century Psychedelia," and features selections from each artist's back catalogue as well as a batch of pieces made specifically for the show. Over the years the three artists have been commissioned for many different kinds of work, from album sleeves to advertisements to party flyers (including, in Little's case, some for legendary club night Spectrum). The main thing tying all of their designs together is a consistently psychedelic edge, which makes them into what a press release describes as "a contemporary equivalent of Hapshash and the original UFO spirit," referring to the iconic '60s design outfit and underground club. The exhibit will run until the 8th of May. Entry is completely free of charge. If you're looking for something to do on Easter Thursday, Leo Zero will be DJing at The Book Club amidst artwork by The Golden Sun Movement.
