  • Catalan club BeCool will see sets from Legowelt and Luomo over the coming weekend. First up is Dutch analog enthusiast Legowelt on Friday. Hague native Danny Wolfers busies himself under a seemingly endless list of artist names, but is most renowned for his old school acid and techno as Legowelt, and for his accompanying live show which features banks of vintage Roland gear. His set for BeCool's Look Back series will feature alongside a semi-live performance from Italian electro and disco luminary Alexander Robotnick. The following night, similarly multi-monikered artist Sasu Ripatti will hone in on his house persona, Luomo. Despite Luomo being Ripatti's most well-known and musically accessible identity, the project has remained virtually dormant since 2008's Convivial album. Saturday's show will be a rare opportunity to catch a live Luomo appearance by the experimentalist, who has most recently been active with his Sistol and Vladislav Delay Quartet outfits. Tickets for Look Back Night # 36: A. Robotnick + Legowelt and Luomo - Live can still be found here from RA Tickets.
