Format B come to Melbourne

- The tech house duo will play at Revolver Upstairs this Sunday.
- German tech house duo Format B will be returning to Melbourne this weekend. The pair, comprised of Franziskus Sell and Jakob Hildenbrand, have been dishing out their own blend of driving tech house for a little over five years now. Since their entry on to the scene back in 2005, Sell and Hildenbrand's emphasis has been on functionality, an approach that has subsequently seen them link up with one of the genre's most prominent imprints, Tom Clark's Highgrade Recordings. The Hamburg-based producers have released their most successful 12-inches through Highgrade as well as dropping an album, Steam Circuit, on the label back in 2008. Since then, they've gone on to establish their own imprint, Formatik, which has so far hosted outings from Daniel Steinberg, DJ Madskillz and Boris Brejcha. Format B will arrive for their Melbourne show this Sunday March 27th, where they'll be spinning a two-hour set for The Likes Of You at Revolver Upstairs.
