Wookie, Rustie and D-Bridge are also programmed for the three day takeover of Village Underground this Easter weekend.
Lovebox has teamed up with three promoters—Warp at Bang The Box, Tayo's Tracksuit Party/Fresh to Death and OOF!—to stage a three day takeover of London's Village Underground over the upcoming Easter weekend.
To kick off proceedings on Thursday 21st, curators of Festival Friday, Bang the Box, have teamed up with Warp Records. Two recent additions to Warp's roster, Glaswegians Hudson Mohawke and Rustie, have been selected to headline. Supporting the pair are Radio 1's Benji B and Kwes.
On Friday 22nd it will be Tayo's Tracksuit Party/Fresh to Death's turn and Wookie topping the bill. Originally know for garage and latterly house production, Wookie is billed to play a 'classics set.' In a similar vein, drum & bass producer and pusher of the Autonomic sound D-Bridge is playing a classic '90s set. Backing them up are The Heatwave-V-Sticky, Southern Hospitality, Tayo3000, Sophie Lloyd and J33.
For the closing party on 23rd, OOF have booked Hercules & Love Affair's Andy Butler and fellow project member Kim Ann Foxman at the top of the pile. Also in attendance will be Jim Stanton & Severino of Horsemeat Disco, Dan Beaumont of Disco Bloodbath and Dave Kendrick.
