- Live at Robert Johnson will release the Berlin-based Italian's first album this spring.
Massimiliano Pagliara will release his first album, Focus For Infinity, this May through Live at Robert Johnson.
The path to Pagliara's first full-length was by no means conventional. His avenue into house and techno began with dance theater choreography, which he studied formally in Milan. As he began spending time in Italian clubs, and especially after visiting Berghain's legendary predecessor, Ostgut, his interest in music and dancing ceased to be academic. He starting honing his DJing and production skills, and after moving to Berlin befriended Daniel Wang, who released his first 12-inch through Balihu. Since then Pagliara's tracks have appeared on Rush Hour, Meaksuma and finally Live at Robert Johnson, who put out his Toxic Love EP in 2009.
Focus For Infinity will be the first artist album on Live at Robert Johnson, a label best known for its mix series. It will be available digitally and on CD, with a shorter version (four fewer tracks) on vinyl.
