  • Detroit techno artist Kenny Larkin will be touching down in Australia early next month, playing dates in Melbourne and Sydney. With a career spanning over 20 years, Larkin has become of the Motor City's most renowned names in electronic music. Now based in Los Angeles, the Michigan native's catalogue is primarily comprised of strands of jazzy, yet muscular and futuristic techno, released on heavyweight labels like R&S Records and Rush Hour. The latter imprint, in particular, was been responsible for a recent surge in the producer's popularity, having reissued a batch of the producer's early work in 2008. Larkin will be arriving for a set in Melbourne alongside Daniel Steinberg on April 1st for Mixed Messages. From there, he'll head north to spin at the Marrickville Recreation Centre the following night, where the HAHA Industries team will be celebrating their sixth birthday.
