  • Manchester promoters Now Wave and Warehouse Project have announced details of a joint venture at the O2 Manchester Apollo on June 4th. Most readers will no doubt already be familiar with the Warehouse Project, thanks to their annual series of parties at Manchester's Piccadilly Train Station. The crew finished up their usual fall and winter season with a closing party that featured Dubfire among many others, although as was the case last year, they will reopen for a run of parties across Easter. Now Wave, meanwhile, cast their net across various styles of music and spaces during 2010, bringing names like Toro Y Moi, Wu Tang Clan, PVT and Beach House to various Manchester venues. Their joint party at the O2 Apollo on Saturday 4th June will serve as a warm-up for the following weekend's Parklife Weekender, which has been put together by the team behind WHP. Caribou will play live in the headlining slot, joined by fellow crossover act Battles. Two of 2010's foremost producers, Actress and Ramadanman have also been announced, while the bill will be rounded out by Star Slinger, Illum Sphere, Kelpe and the Now Wave DJs.
