- The Slovenian DJ takes the reins of Toolroom Records' next compilation.
Umek has mixed the next edition of Toolroom Knights, due for release this March.
Founded by UK jock Mark Knight, Toolroom Records is a big name outlet for pop-friendly club bangers. Toolroom Knights is their in-house mix series, with past editions coming from artists like Gabriel & Dresden, Dirty South and Funkagenda. This time, it's Umek stepping up to the plate with his big room style of techno and tech house. The release consists of 36 tracks spread over two mixed CDs. Eight of the songs are previously unreleased, including two by Umek himself.
If you're in New York, Umek will be launching the mix later this month at District 36. Tickets to the party are available here on RA.
