Richie Hawtin goes Beyond Wonderland

- The Minus boss headlines one of five stages at the southern California festival this month.
- The Beyond Wonderland festival will return to the NOS Event center in San Bernardino, California on Saturday March 19. The one-day festival is sponsored by Insomniac, who have been throwing large-scale parties in California for almost two decades. This year's lineup continues the tradition of providing a wide variety of electronic beats across five different ares of music. Kaskade, Infected Mushroom, Noisia, and Bad Boy Bill are headliners for their respective stages, but house and techno heads will make a beeline for the Chess Village space, which is headlined by Minus boss Richie Hawtin. Hawtin should need little introduction as a minimal techno icon (having recently revived his beloved Plastikman project for shows around the world), as well as a leader in the digital DJ movement. He'll handle the decks at the Chess Village along with Loco Dice, Marco Carola (who just released a new LP through Minus) and Paco Osuna. Get Physical's M.A.N.D.Y. and Hot Natured member Jamie Jones will be on hand with some warmer tech house grooves.
