Modeselektor added to SonarSound Tokyo

- Modeselektor have been confirmed for SonarSound, taking place in Tokyo this April. The Berlin duo join a bill that's turning out to be quite eclectic, with Flying Lotus, Kode9, Seefeel and Battles already confirmed. Other new additions include Warp's Hudson Mohawke and Swedish producer Axel Boman, plus a collection of Japanese acts led by sound artist Ryoji Ikeda. The event takes place on April second and third at one of the city's biggest clubs, ageHa. Meanwhile, Sonar have made some additions to their hometown events in Spain as well. German superstar Paul Kalkbrenner will play the main festival in Barcelona, along with Steve Aoki, Nicolas Jaar, Shackleton and classic ambient duo Global Communication. Some big names have also been confirmed for both Barcelona and the Galicia arm of the festival in A Coruna, such as Cut Copy, M.I.A., Die Antwoord, Boys Noize and Buraka Som Sistema.
