The staggering bill of Scandanavian artists also includes Lindstrøm, diskJokke, Telephones and many more.
Norway's annual by:Larm festival takes place over the next few days, bringing hundreds of artists to dozens of events in Oslo.
At the end of February each year, by:Larm showcases artists from all over Scandinavia, regardless of style or popularity (this year's festival features everyone from Swedish indie favorites Peter Bjorn and John to Norwegian black metal artists like Ulver). For the past two years, Smalltown Supersound boss Joakim Haugland has sat as head of the festival's programming. Naturally, this has led to a more robust electronic portion of the lineup: last year's event featured a debut live set from Todd Terje and Dølle Jølle, and this year the festival boasts two exclusive debut gigs, the first one by Smalltown Superstars, a trio made up by Todd Terje, Lindstrom and diskJokke, and the second one by Prins Thomas' Orkester.
The festival will finish off on Saturday with a huge four-room showcase hosted by the Sunkissed crew, which will also see Tartelet Records' Kenton Slash Demon playing alongside local heroes Ost & Kjex, Pow Pow and Kim Hiorthoy. The night will also showcase live sets from new Full Pupp signings Telephones and Sommerstad.
