  • Steve Lawler will revive his long-running Harlem Nights residency this spring at London venue 7-9 Crucifix Lane. From 2002 to 2009, Lawler hosted Harlem Nights at bygone London clubbing favorite The End. When the venue closed two years ago, Lawler's monthly party went down with it. Now, the VIVa Music boss is reviving the event as a quarterly series at 7-9 Crucifix Lane, a warehouse-style venue near London Bridge. The first party takes place on April 2nd, and features Lawler alongside recent VIVa Music additions Bearweasel. Artists from VIVa's more experimental-leaning eVIVE sub label take care of the venue's second room. All editions of Harlem Nights will feature extended sets from Lawler himself.
