  • Seth Troxler, Lee Curtiss, Ryan Crosson and Shaun Reeves will launch their Visionquest label at Watergate next Friday, February 4th. Although the name Visionquest first appeared on the Dumb-Unit label back in 2007 as part of a Butane/Sweet 'n Candy remix package, it was a 2009 retouch of Kiki's "Good Voodoo" that properly introduced the quartet. Since then the crew of American ex-patriots have released a couple of remixes under the name, namely for Tracey Thorn and Paul Ritch with D'Julz, and in December of last year announced the arrival of Visionquest the label. Washington, DC duo Benoit & Sergio are the first act to release on the imprint: their Where the Freaks Have No Name EP is set to hit record stores on January 31st, and will be followed by newer acts such as Footprintz, Tale Of Us and Niki Nakazawa. All four Visionquest members will be spinning upstairs at the party next weekend, while the Water Floor will be in the hands of Tsuba's Kevin Griffiths, Rekids' Nina Kraviz and local jock Robin Drimalski.
