- The Brainfeeder artist will play the party's first edition tomorrow night.
American beatsmith Marcos Otega, AKA Lorn, will head up the cast at Pure Filth's new weekly party, Screwface.
Release-wise, last year was Otega's most productive to date. A string of singles preceded his debut album Nothing Else, put out by Flying Lotus' Brainfeeder imprint. Since the record's release in June, the young producer's gig schedule has increased dramatically, with dozens of dates in the US and abroad. He'll be arriving in LA tomorrow night to headline Screwface's launch at Gabah. The new weekly night will feature a variety of guest selectors over the coming weeks, with Jakes, Kyle Hall and Low End Theory's Daddy Kev all scheduled to play.
