  • Bibio readies Mind Bokeh image
  • UK producer Bibio will release his next album in April on Warp Records. Bibio has been making trippy, left-field electronic records since 2005. His latest is called Mind Bokeh, and will be his second album in less than two years, following 2009's Ambivalence Avenue. As you can hear in the brief medley below, the record is a characteristically sun-kissed affair that bobs between hip-hop, disco, pop and what has been called folktronica, all the while maintaining a deep vein of psychedelia. According to Pitchfork, the word "Bokeh" in the album's title refers to blurriness in photographs, an image that suits Bibio's sound quite nicely. Tracklist 01. Excuses 02. Pretentious 03.
